Job Title: Freelance Section Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Section Engineer with extensive experience in water treatment projects to join our team at the Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee the engineering aspects of the project.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of both the Early Contractor Involvement Contract and the Main Works Contract.
  • Supervise the construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed meets the required standards.
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on water treatment projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of sewage treatment processes, including primary settlement tanks, Enhanced Biological Phosphorus Removal (EBPR) Activated Sludge Plant (ASP) lanes, and Final Settlement tanks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
