Decontamination Equipment Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Decontamination Equipment Specialist to provide maintenance, testing, and validation services for medical decontamination equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with HTM01-01 and HTM-2030 standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, testing, and validation on medical decontamination equipment.
- Provide expert advice on decontamination equipment to Trust Officers.
- Participate in planned maintenance of equipment, including preparation of maintenance procedures and planning of maintenance schedules.
- Undertake quarterly audits of test results, investigating anomalies, and providing written reports to Estates Management Team.
- Commission new equipment, completing relevant documentation.
- Monitor performance of external contractors, ensuring compliance standards are maintained, and provide formal reports when required.
- Stay updated with general technological developments in related fields of activity.
- Perform other duties commensurate with the grade in the field of expertise.
- Order replacement non-stock items in accordance with the Trust Standing Financial Instructions.

Salary Information:
The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
