Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our Rugby Hub Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fabric handling equipment, including Beumer Sorters, Interroll Sorters, and Carousel conveyors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabric handling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and other team members to plan and execute maintenance schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical developments and advancements in fabric handling equipment, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fabric maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of fabric handling equipment and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Relevant qualifications in an engineering discipline, such as City & Guilds, or equivalent experience and skills.
