Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our Rugby Hub Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fabric handling equipment, including Beumer Sorters, Interroll Sorters, and Carousel conveyors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabric handling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Conduct thorough fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and other team members to plan and execute maintenance schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  4. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  5. Stay up-to-date with technical developments and advancements in fabric handling equipment, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in fabric maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of fabric handling equipment and systems.
  2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  5. Relevant qualifications in an engineering discipline, such as City & Guilds, or equivalent experience and skills.
