Job Summary
As a Home Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, providing companionship, personal care, and domestic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and mobility.
- Offer companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Support clients with their daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
