Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Events Manager to join our team at Rekallconsulting. As an Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating a full roster of events around the world, with a specific focus on the Cloud Computing & DevOps sector.

You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that not only showcase our expertise but also establish our brand as a leader in the DevOps and Cloud Computing space.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination:

  1. Plan and execute a calendar of events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops.
  2. Ensure all logistical and operational aspects of events are well-organized, from venue selection to travel arrangements.

Audience Engagement:

  1. Identify and target the right audience for each event, ensuring that attendees are relevant to our industry.

Branding and Marketing:

  1. Develop and maintain consistent branding across all event materials.
  2. Create compelling marketing messaging and advertising campaigns to promote events effectively.

Budget Management:

  1. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and tracking expenses.

On-Site Event Management:

  1. Oversee all on-site event logistics, including registration, AV setup, and catering.

Post-Event Evaluation:

  1. Gather feedback and data to assess the success of each event.
  2. Use insights to improve future event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in event management, with a strong portfolio of successful events in the DevOps or Cloud Computing sector.
  3. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Proficiency in event management software and marketing tools.
  5. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
