AWS Utility Computing (UC) is a suite of services that provides product innovations, including Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. You'll work with customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

We're seeking a Cloud Computing Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India. You'll help create, label, and curate the data required to measure model accuracy and build new automation features. You should be comfortable labeling and understanding data using knowledge of technical writing and basic coding skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform root cause analysis using basic data analysis in Excel and SQL on annotations to identify quality issues.
  2. Develop high-quality applications to generate annotation examples.
  3. Annotate and deliver data at prescribed quality and volume.
  4. Guide automation improvements for tooling efficiencies.
  5. Deliver results according to project schedules and quality while maintaining SLAs on velocity, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  1. 2+ years of software development or 2+ years of technical support experience.
  2. Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
  3. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
  4. Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development.
  5. Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID.
  6. Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON.
