Taxation Specialist

**About Us**

Castle Employment is a firm of accountants based in York, offering tax services and financial expertise to businesses and individuals.

We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of taxation, including tax planning, compliance, and client relationship management.

The estimated salary for this position is up to £47,000 per annum, reflecting the skills and experience required for the role.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced tax professional to lead our tax team and develop new business opportunities.

• Management of the tax team, responsible for developing the department
• Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
• Attracting new clients and contributing to the success of the firm
• Working alongside Client Managers and Directors to identify opportunities
• Providing advice and tax updates, as well as training

To succeed in this role, you must have:

1. ICAEW/CTA/ATT qualification
2. Confidence in advising clients on tax matters
3. Proven record as a team leader and experience in managing and developing a team
4. Experience working in Tax in an Accountancy Practice setting
