About the Role:

As an Electrical Training Officer at Dovetail and Slate, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of the trade. You will deliver high-quality assessments and support to apprentices, working closely with employers and education providers to guide apprentices through their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and place new apprentices, ensuring employers understand the required assessment standards.
• Promote career opportunities in schools and through careers services.
• Conduct apprentice reviews, skills gap analyses, and ensure they are placed on the correct pathway.
• Complete pre-placement vetting of employers in line with company policies.
• Follow safeguarding and Prevent policies, ensuring any concerns are reported.
• Assess apprentice evidence in line with National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Awarding Organisation guidelines.
• Provide feedback, set SMART targets, and support apprentices to achieve their qualifications.
