We're looking for a skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Managed Service team, you'll work collaboratively to onboard new services without disruption, deliver enhancements, provide ongoing maintenance and support services, and continuously improve both digital services and service operations using DevSecOps practices and data-driven user analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a range of digital services, data services, and platform offerings
  • Develop and maintain application management procedures and documentation
  • Manage application enhancements through live operation
  • Advise on security, licensing, maintenance, and disaster recovery needs
Requirements
  • Experience of common IT Service Management tooling such as ServiceNow, ZenDesk, PagerDuty, and/or JIRA Service Desk
  • Experience of working with agile methodologies and agile ways of working
  • ITIL methodologies and terminology
  • Tiered and/or swarm models of incident management
  • Experience with avascript and Java
  • IaC (Infrastructure as Code) such as Terraform
  • Cross-functional working
  • Application support and CI/CD
  • AWS platform management

We require all successful candidates for this role to have eligibility for SC (security check) clearance. This requires 5 years' UK residency and 5 years' employment history (or back to full-time education).
