About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community domestic department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our hospital and community sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine cleaning tasks on a daily and weekly basis, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning hard floors and surfaces.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning tasks on a monthly or annual basis, as required.
  • Ensure all areas of the hospital and community sites are clean and safe for staff and patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients, relatives, and staff in a polite and respectful manner.
  • Ability to keep to pre-arranged schedules and work flexibly as required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
