Academic Support Specialist

This role is part of a dedicated team supporting young adults with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of students at all times.
- Assist in setting and achieving individual Education and Healthcare plan targets.
- Promote positive behavior throughout the school environment.
- Accurately document incidents and health & safety issues.
- A Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children or Adults care.
- Experience working with Younger Adults aged 16 - 25 years old.
- Ideal experience in Educational Special Needs settings.
- Skills in managing challenging behaviors.
Benefits include a competitive salary of £21,000 - £22,900 per annum, depending on experience. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek, term-time only, with opportunities for training and qualification funding.
