Education Specialist

Spartanburg School District Two is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Specialist to join our team. As an Education Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting students in learning subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible individuals.
In this role, you will report directly to the school Principal and work closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of all students.
About the Job
The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students who require additional support. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs to support student learning and development.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure that students receive the support they need.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Assess student progress and adjust programs accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Experience working with students who require additional support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
