Subsea Field Engineer

DOF Subsea Atlantic is seeking a highly skilled Subsea Field Engineer to support the delivery of subsea projects. The successful candidate will be based on a CSV, working full-time on a rotational basis of up to 6 weeks on/off. This role requires a strong background in subsea construction, decommissioning, or IRM projects, with a flexible mindset to support the project team before and during execution offshore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve processes and manuals to support project delivery
  • Coordinate requests for information from onshore teams to the relevant department on the CSV
  • Attend constructability reviews, HIRA, and HAZOP
  • Support mobilisations and demobilisations
  • Perform ad hoc engineering checks during change management
  • Champion QHSES on board the CSV
Requirements:
  • Strong track record of procedure writing/checking for delivery of subsea projects
  • Offshore experience on CSV/DSV as a project engineer or field engineer
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore construction vessels

The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal and organisational skills, enthusiasm in problem-solving, and a flexible attitude. Clear and concise communication abilities, reliability, honesty, and a proactive attitude are also essential.
