We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Sheridan Maine South. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing supplier invoices, and managing our purchase ledger.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Process supplier invoices, manage purchase ledger, and reconcile credit card transactions.
- Credit Control: Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection of debts.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Invoice Management: Generate invoices to clients and resolve any related queries.
- Banking and Cash Management: Oversee banking and cash management activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Reporting: Provide ad-hoc reporting to the wider finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
