The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to join our team at Trostan Dene. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of shop floor staff to ensure the manufacture of quality products within specification while maintaining Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee production to ensure deadlines are met in the most cost-effective manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Quality, Finance, Sales, and Customer Services to achieve business objectives
  • Work with and support Machine Setters to ensure efficient breakdowns and repairs
  • Support colleagues in addressing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain awareness of relevant improvements to manufacturing processes
  • Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable career experience and achievement at Production Supervisor/Production Manager level. You will be a positive and engaging communicator who can effectively lead and develop team members. You will also have a good understanding of effective production processes and a continuous improvement approach.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 dependent on your career qualifications, experience, and industry background.
