Sue Ryder is a leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care. We have a small hospice in Reading, where we deliver high-quality care to patients and their families.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our team members.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess and plan individualized care for patients using evidence-based guidelines
• Maintain high standards of care delivery by working collaboratively within regulatory body standards and the Sue Ryder Quality Governance Policy
• Provide support, leadership, and appraisal to team members as required
• Participate in our senior nurse on-call rota and act as a shift coordinator after a period of orientation
• Act as an ambassador of Sue Ryder to service users, relatives, colleagues, and the public

Requirements
• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Significant post-registration experience, preferably in palliative care
• Ability to work well within a team, use initiative, and possess excellent communication skills

Salary Information
