Commercial Litigation Solicitor

We are a progressive law firm based in the Southeast of Wales, committed to providing a professional and client-focused service. We are seeking an experienced Litigation and Property Lawyer to join our expanding practice, working closely with our Dispute Resolution Solicitor and supporting other departmental tasks as required.
The Role- Build and manage your own caseload of property litigation matters, including:
- Boundary disputes, TOLATA claims, and land ownership issues
- Residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes, including possession claims
- Easement disputes (rights of way, light, usage)
- Dilapidation disputes and leasehold extensions under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Provide legal support to other departments (Commercial Property, Employment, Debt Recovery, Probate)
- Handle client instructions, maintain detailed file notes, and draft legal documents (pleadings, statements)
- Prepare cost estimates and issue Client Care Letters, with regular client updates on progress and costs
- Ensure compliance with Office Manual procedures and Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Prepare and review court bundles; perform court advocacy when needed
- Negotiate settlements and draft agreements
£55,000 - £75,000 per annum
