About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as Reporting and Data Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS, particularly IFRS17.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reports, including quarterly Brit Limited consolidation and Brit's quarterly reporting to Fairfax via OneStream. You will also oversee the production and technical review of Brit's entity and consolidated financial statements.

You will be working closely with senior executives and management, including those of our overseas parent company, to provide technical knowledge, advice, and expertise on all areas of Group Reporting.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days annual leave, optional private medical insurance, on-target bonus, and strong employer's contributory pension.

We operate in a hybrid working capacity, allowing you to collaborate in our London office and enjoy the flexibility to work from home.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in external financial reporting, including strategic report and consolidated financial statement sections of annual reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior executives and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience working with data for competitive advantage, including data modernisation, data management, and data strategy.
  • Knowledge of financial controls and IFRS17.
