Internal Sales Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Executive to join our team at Ascendant Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of sales quotations and supporting the creation of strategic proposals and bids.
  • Recognise and help develop areas of profitable growth for Contractual Accounts.
  • Coordination of activities both internal and external to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Maintain regular customer stock lists and SAP contract reports and manage inventory levels.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Support to provide efficient and effective customer service.
  • Ensure all functions are performed in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Seek out opportunities for 'Materials as a Service' ethos.
  • Develop accounts to Key Account status and pass 'up stream'.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Internal Sales Executive who possesses:

  • Sales Contract management experience.
  • A strong understanding of aerospace, metals, or manufacturing knowledge.
  • A proven track record of customer development.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • A customer service focus.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • PC literacy with a strong working knowledge of Windows-based applications.
