Contract Pricing Specialist

Dawsongroup is a privately owned group of companies specializing in commercial asset rental and sales, operating across the UK and Ireland.
We're seeking a passionate and self-motivated Contract Pricing Specialist to join our Truck & Trailer business.
Your RoleWorking closely with the Contracts General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the contract hire quotation and costing process effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and return contract quotes entered into the sales database promptly and accurately, collaborating with the Contracts General Manager.
- Develop and maintain an efficient and functional quotation component database.
- Collaborate effectively with the Fleet Management team to ensure all equipment specifications are readily available for stakeholders. Verify that correct specifications are applied to each quotation.
- Work with the wider management team to generate reports and statistics related to the quotation system as needed.
- Develop pricing for 'special offers' and other promotions requested by the Fleet Manager.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Previous office experience with strong computer skills (MS Excel etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working with detailed data and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Experience within the transport industry and commercial vehicle sales or rental is desirable, but not essential.
