Job Overview
Rydon Maintenance is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in managing costs for our responsive and planned housing maintenance and repairs contracts. As a key member of our quantity surveying team, you will assist with obtaining and evaluating cost information from each of our Housing Repairs contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the NHF Schedule of Rates to identify cost anomalies in directly delivered and subcontracted works.
- Ensure timely purchasing and negotiating of Sub Contract, Material, and Plant orders.
- Verify that Subcontractors and Suppliers meet company standards prior to procurement.
- Paying and monitoring Subcontractor progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housing maintenance and schedule of rates billing.
- Strong MS Office packages experience and great communication skills.
- Ability to build excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors.
