Company Overview:

Our client, a renowned retailer based in Nottinghamshire, is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor on a 4-5 fixed-term contract.

We are looking for someone who can provide proactive support on a wide range of employee relations issues and has experience in coaching line managers on various employee relations issues.

Job Summary:

This role involves supporting the HR Business Partner and providing proactive support on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals.

The ideal candidate will be able to adopt a positive employee relations approach to support, coach, and upskill managers to fulfill their people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the HR Business Partner and provide proactive support on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals
  • Provide guidance, help, and advice to employees requiring assistance in respect of company policies and procedures and employment legislation
  • Deal proactively with absence management; assist with identification and resolution of long-term sickness issues and problematic cases, monitoring KPIs and trends to propose preventative measures
  • Manage an allocated employee relations case load
Requirements:
  • Strong ER experience
  • Exposure to case management
  • Experience of coaching line managers
