Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Development Manager to join our team at BLUE Communications.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, where you will have the chance to develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing a diverse workload, prioritizing responsibilities, and dealing professionally with employees and management teams.

You will be responsible for supporting the employees and Management Board with activities such as line managing the Inhouse Recruiter, facilitating appraisals, and leading the relationship with external HR Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line Managing the Inhouse Recruiter: overseeing all recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Supporting Line Managers to sustain the six-monthly appraisal cycle for a team of 40+
  • Managing the weekly T@3 training schedule and quarterly Employee of the Quarter nominations
  • Developing training modules for different roles within the organisation
  • Leading the relationship with external HR Consultants

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to effectively prioritise responsibilities
  • A willingness to work hard and 'roll their sleeves up'
  • 4 or 5 days per week options
  • Experience of managing a diverse workload and managing own deadlines
  • A career history of dealing professionally with employees and reporting into management teams

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Oxford / London (hybrid working arrangement)
