Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Rail Asset Maintenance Engineer to deliver technical excellence on our asset portfolio in the north eastern route.

This role involves conducting examinations on earthworks assets, overseeing inspection documents, and assisting with engineering design and plans as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, previous experience working in asset management, and relevant competencies such as PTS and geotechnical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of earthworks assets to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of inspection documents to track asset condition and performance.
  • Assist with the development of engineering designs and plans for allocated works.
  • Participate in engineering reviews to discuss project progress and address any issues that arise.

Essential Requirements:

  • A strong engineering background with experience in asset management.
  • Previous experience working on earthworks examinations or similar projects.
  • Familiarity with rail industry practices and regulations.
  • Possession of relevant competencies such as PTS and geotechnical knowledge.
