We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team at KPJ Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling a wide range of mechanical products, including hoists, gearboxes, and smaller sub-assemblies. You will use engineering best practice, drawings, and SOPs to ensure work conforms to relevant specifications.
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
• Assemble mechanical products using engineering best practice
• Perform daily health and safety checks on equipment such as cranes
• Ensure calibrated equipment is in good condition and within calibration date
• Record labour hours against production jobs
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Maintenance Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience
• Confident to read engineering drawings
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Experience of building/maintaining electromechanical products or vehicle mechanics (desirable)
• Previous experience of using cranes and slinging (desirable)
