Rheumatology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Consultant Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive service in Rheumatology, including out-patients, day case procedures, and in-patient referrals requiring rheumatology specialist input.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a consultant-led and delivered service, allowing for long-term doctor-patient relationships to develop.
- Participate in medical audit and research as appropriate.
- Ensure that the requirements of clinical governance are met.
- Contribute to the development of the department's services and strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

We are looking for a Consultant Rheumatologist who is:
- Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.
- Eligible to be included on the Specialist register - CCT expected within 6 months of interview date.
- MBBS or MRCP Primary medical qualification.
- Experienced in providing high-quality patient care and managing complex cases.
- Able to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients and colleagues.
