SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Lambeth

We are seeking a motivated and caring Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Lambeth. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide additional support to students with special educational needs, working on a 1:1 and small group basis in class and around school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to SEN students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring that SEN students are fully engaged and included.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with SEN students, either in a school or other educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
