Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Site Manager to join our team at Bolton Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness, and security of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure they are in good working order and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Undertake routine maintenance and basic repairs during the school day and organize and monitor major works during school holidays.
  • Be responsible for locking and unlocking the school and act as a key holder.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and children.
  • Ensure the safety and security of everyone at our school.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate high levels of professionalism.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and skills relating to buildings maintenance and health and safety requirements in public buildings.
