Job Role - QA Compliance Expert

The Quality Assurance function is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory specifications, customer requirements, and our internal Quality Management System.

Main Duties
  • Develop and implement schedules of audits and assessments, including completion of associated documentation and activities, to ensure the effectiveness of our QMS.
  • Support investigations into quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Manage the completion and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative measures.
  • Ensure quality targets are maintained for QA Compliance.
  • Support external quality audits, assessments, and visits by customers and authorities.
  • Perform regular shop floor checks, report any issues, and ensure effective resolution.
  • Support the coordination and facilitation of timely responses and resolution of quality issues identified.
  • Assist in generating Quality Plans and proposals.
  • Support customer or supplier Source Inspection or Delegate Product Review Verification activities.
  • Facilitate concession applications and engineering change requests.
  • Participate in Engineering Design Project reviews and auditing these projects to ensure compliance to internal QMS requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
  • A proven track record of Quality/Business Improvement experience.
  • Experience working within a quality management system.
  • Knowledge of auditing, both internal and external.
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments and supply chains.

An ideal candidate will have experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Engineer, QA Engineer, QMS Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager, or Quality Lead.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 per annum.
