About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Wade Macdonald. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in producing monthly management accounts, handling sales commission reports, and collaborating with budget holders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and sales commission reports
  • Produce month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Analyse profit and loss (P&L) accounts and reconcile balance sheets
  • Prepare monthly variance commentaries in line with the month-end timetable
  • Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with year-end statutory accounts and tax computations
  • Support auditors and resolve queries promptly
  • Assist various finance functions (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Sales Admin)
About You

We are looking for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with previous experience in a management accounting role. You should have strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of accounting systems, and excellent communication abilities. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong numerical and interpersonal skills.
