About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as an Apprentice Construction Site Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for day-to-day surveying and setting out duties on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
  • Conduct site surveys and set out construction layouts
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to ensure project delivery
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements
  • Operate robotic total station instruments and other construction equipment
  • Participate in the development of AutoCAD drawings and other project documentation
  • Support the preparation of bills of quantities and other project-related documents

Requirements

  • Relevant education and training in civil engineering or a related field
  • Experience working on construction sites, preferably with site supervision experience
  • CSCS 5-day safety qualification
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
