Job Summary:

Kenton Black Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team in the Didcot to Swindon region. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for accurate setting out, drawing analysis, and reading drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurate setting out and drawing analysis to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Utilizing GPS coordinates to quickly and accurately locate sites and mark out areas for construction.
  3. Effective communication with the contracts manager and site team to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Conducting basic Quality Assurance work to ensure high-quality construction standards.

Location and Travel:

You will be based on one large site in the Didcot or Swindon area and will occasionally travel to smaller sites in the region. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out for all elements of groundworks, including roads, sewers, housing plots, kerbs, foundations, and balancing ponds.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience setting out on residential groundworks projects or related civil engineering experience.
  2. Previous use of Leica total station programmed with GPS.
  3. AutoCAD experience.
  4. Full Driving Licence.
