Job Summary

Prospectus is seeking a highly skilled Programme Officer to join their team in a full-time, temporary capacity. As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of programmes through high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, supportive, responsive, and personable service to students and academic staff as the first point of contact.
  • Support processes across the whole academic cycle, ensuring accurate and timely record management across multiple systems.
  • Undertake programme administration tasks, including front-line support and programme coordination.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize strong people skills to handle face-to-face queries under pressure and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a higher education setting or similar organization.
  • Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Confident in dealing with face-to-face queries under pressure and able to remain calm and patient in a busy environment.
  • Well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience with SITS and other systems such as timetabling (Syllabus+) and Moodle.
  • Approachable, friendly manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
