Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Staff Psychology Service, providing expert psychological support to staff across the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital sites.
The Staff Psychology Service is a key component of our organisation, dedicated to promoting staff wellbeing and providing evidence-based psychological interventions to support staff in managing the emotional impact of working in the NHS.
Main Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation for teams and staff members.
- Develop and deliver a range of psychological interventions, including individual therapy, consultation, and debriefing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver bespoke interventions and resources.
- Maintain an awareness of the impact of challenges on individual or team level on the provision of safe and good quality clinical care.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide highly specialist advice to other professionals.
