Independent Tenancy Management

We are seeking a skilled Independent Tenancy Management Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients in supported accommodation to empower them to maintain tenancy responsibilities and eventually transition to permanent housing.

This role involves conducting risk assessments and following lone working procedures to ensure personal safety. You will also assist clients in developing life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting, and provide guidance on managing finances effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support clients in developing life skills and promoting independence.
  • Assist clients in identifying and addressing underlying issues, such as substance abuse and mental health issues.
  • Liaise with Adult Social Care, Criminal Justice, Health services, and training agencies to maximise outcomes for clients.
About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • GCSE-level qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths, with strong IT skills.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and a creative approach to engagement.
  • A thorough understanding of the Housing First model and its application in practice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy, resilience, and a commitment to advocacy.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car for client visits across Northamptonshire.
