Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist to join our team at The Christie Private Care (TCPC). This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the provision of expert clinical practice in oncology AHP.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work independently as an autonomous practitioner, delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey. The role will involve contributing to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion alongside the physiotherapy lead. The successful candidate will be experienced and confident working across fast-paced, dynamic, acute clinical environments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • HCPC Registration
  • Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • The ability to demonstrate commitment to Continuous Professional Development
  • Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Post-registration clinical experience across a wide range of core physiotherapy areas: surgical care, respiratory, acute medicine, neurology, musculoskeletal, rehabilitation
  • Experience working across different clinical settings
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritize effectively
  • Understanding of oncology conditions, treatments, and pathways
  • Advanced communication skills
  • A passion and interest in cancer care
