Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team at The Christie Private Care. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to contribute to our innovative and expanding oncology AHP team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey. This will involve working independently as an autonomous practitioner, seeing private in-patients and out-patients across various settings at TCPC.

The role will also involve the development of others, including colleagues, students, and other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will contribute to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion alongside the physiotherapy lead.

Requirements
  • HCPC Registration
  • Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
  • Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Post-registration clinical experience across a wide range of core physiotherapy areas
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise effectively
  • Understanding of oncology conditions, treatments, and pathways
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Passion and interest in cancer care
