About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at The Co-operative Group. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
  • Lead and motivate the store team, fostering a positive and productive work culture
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, cash handling, and security
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and meet targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
