Subcontract Manager

We are seeking a skilled Subcontract Manager to assist in managing and overseeing the Integrated Asset Care Contract at Sellafield, a 4+1 year £250M sanction project delivered by OneAIM, a joint venture between Mitie and Jacobs.
The scope includes mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering with individual Jobs, Tasks, and Projects ranging from hundreds to several million pounds. As Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the successful running and commercial control of each project, coordinating subcontractor usage and approach, and ensuring accurate management through budgeting and reporting.
You will liaise with Operations & Commercial to ensure Subcontracts are raised in line with demand and operational requirements, and be the main point of contact for discussions with Subcontractors. Your responsibilities will also include developing and growing the IAC Subcontract capability to the framework and working with Subcontractors to understand support required and monitor any changes to the market.
About the Role
- Experience in managing Projects and its lifecycle, with a strong understanding of supporting and managing subcontractors and interpreting design drawings.
- Excellent commercial understanding and ability to interpret NEC3 all options.
- Good Supplier management following good industry practice and guidelines.
- Commercial/Construction related qualification or equivalent, with knowledge and experience managing subcontractors in a heavily regulated environment.
