Job Summary

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Orthotist to join our clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex patients in all areas of Orthotics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex patients in all areas of Orthotics, including spinal, gait, and diabetic management.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and independently to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in the education of graduate Orthotists, apprentice Orthotists, and undergraduate students.
  • Participate in departmental governance, risk management, policy adherence, and clinical audit.
  • Engage and participate in departmental meetings and link with specialist clinical groups as required.

Requirements
  • Current State Registration HCPC certification.
  • BAPO membership is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within and manage a team.
