Job Summary

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Orthotist to join our clinical team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex patients and providing expert clinical care in all areas of orthotics.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex patients in all areas of orthotics, including spinal, gait, and diabetic management.
• Assist in education and training of graduate orthotists, apprentice orthotists, and undergraduate students.
• Participate in department governance, risk management, policy adherence, and clinical audit.
• Engage and participate in department meetings, both clinical and general, and link in with specialist clinical groups as required.

Requirements

• Current State Registration HCPC certification
• Preferably a member of BAPO
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within and manage a team
• Skilled in all areas of clinical orthotics
• 5 years clinical experience desirable
