We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Fracture and Orthopaedic team at Bassetlaw Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with trauma and orthopaedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a nurse-led dressing clinic, including wound care and related procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with clinic management, including scheduling, stock ordering, and patient flow.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid Level 1 or 2 qualification.
- Experience in orthopaedics or trauma care, with a strong understanding of wound care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of the service.
