Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at BMR Solutions Ltd. in Clevedon, North Somerset.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving safe and lean assembly and test processes for existing and new products. This will involve documenting, implementing, and owning Lean manufacturing processes, as well as defining, setting up, and optimizing processes within the allocated manufacturing cell.

The ideal candidate will have equivalent experience in a similar role, a Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree, and experience in process documentation authoring, writing of procedures, and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document and implement Lean manufacturing processes
  • Define, set up, and optimize processes within the allocated manufacturing cell
  • Implement continuous improvement activities and projects
  • Ensure configuration control of operational documentation
  • Ownership and accountability to resolve or support any non-conformity
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree
  • Process documentation authoring and writing of procedures
  • Experience in optimizing production processes and providing production support
  • Problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis tools
