Key Responsibilities:
  • To teach Design Technology to students aged 11-18, with a specialization in Product Design.
  • To design engaging teaching materials and resources.
  • To develop good working relationships with students and staff.
  • To monitor student progress in the subject and provide feedback to parents and carers.
  • To stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and changes in the education sector.


Requirements:
  • A degree in Design Technology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
  • Experience of teaching Design Technology to students aged 11-18.
  • Good teaching skills, including the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • A passion for Design Technology and a commitment to promoting the subject to students.

This role is available immediately, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be required to work in a co-educational school setting, teaching Design Technology to students aged 11-18.
