Learning Support Worker Position Available

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Learning Support Worker to join our team at a primary school in Wythenshawe. As a valuable member of our staff, you will provide support and guidance to students in Year 6, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Job Description:

  • Assist Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Classroom Management: Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, relevant experience working with children preferably within a school setting, knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and methods to support this, and relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school with motivated and engaged pupils and supportive families. The successful candidate will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, based on experience.
