Brook Street UK is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team in Belfast. This exciting role will involve providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse range of clients.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience with management and financial accounts, as well as strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. They will work closely with a growing team of accounting professionals and be encouraged to develop new skills and attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts preparation and tax returns for income, corporate, and VAT purposes.
  • Review tax computations and tax returns for client businesses and individuals as required.
  • Respond to client queries and provide advice accordingly.
  • Manage external and internal compliance to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA) with previous accountancy practice experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with accounting systems/software and general IT skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with professionals at executive levels.
