Category Manager

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team in Birchwood Park, Warrington. This role is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure compliance with business and legal requirements, including IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop category strategies, considering business plan requirements, strategic goals, and emerging risks.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for contracted out services, considering market analysis, cost drivers, and overall business objectives.
- Manage commercial negotiations, balancing demands of multiple stakeholders.
- Lead contract drafting and negotiation in collaboration with the Legal teams, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk for all labour-based contracts.
- Develop and implement SRM activities in alignment with business objectives, including Performance Reviews, monitoring of SLAs, and KPIs.
- Contract management of all associated contracts, including supplier performance monitoring and support to dispute resolution.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with labour procurement.
- Track and report on supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Tracking of data and reporting, including Cost Savings and Cost Avoidance.
A Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable. Ability to use standard procurement tools such as Oracle/SAP and MS Office software, including Excel, is required.
