We are seeking a highly skilled Category Procurement Manager to join our team at JouwIRO. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services across various categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Selection and Management: Develop and implement effective supplier selection and management strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for JouwIRO.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans to meet JouwIRO's business needs.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with JouwIRO's policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on procurement-related matters.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior category manager, procurement manager, or supply chain role within construction, manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and line management experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Category Management Experience: Experience in category management, with a strong focus on project leadership and strategic execution.
  • Results-Focused: A proven track record of delivering results-driven procurement solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as part of the role to meet with suppliers and stakeholders.
