Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

A leading steel firm in the heart of the Black Country is seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join their team. As a maintenance engineer, you will be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota, responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation work and electrical fault finding
  • Conduct PLC work (I/O) and maintain accurate maintenance logs
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • Steel or heavy engineering experience
  • Basic PLC knowledge and electrical fault finding skills
  • Previous experience as a plant maintenance engineer
